The journal Management and Business follows an open access policy under which all published materials are freely available to readers immediately upon publication. No subscription, payment, registration or affiliation with a particular institution is required to access the full texts of articles.
Open access applies to all research articles and other materials published in the journal. Readers, researchers, teachers, students, libraries and other institutions may freely use the published materials in accordance with the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence.
The journal does not charge readers, libraries or institutions for access to its published content. Open access to the materials is provided without time, territorial or technical restrictions, except for those necessary to ensure the proper functioning of the journal’s official website.

All articles published in Management and Business are made permanently available on an open access basis from the date of their official publication.

The official version of an article is the version published on the journal’s website and, where applicable, identified by a DOI. When using an article, users are encouraged to cite its official published version.

Users’ Rights
The conditions governing the use and redistribution of journal materials are determined by the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0).
Under the terms of this licence, users may:

  • copy and reproduce articles in whole or in part;
  • distribute materials in any format or medium;
  • incorporate extracts, tables, figures or other materials into their own scholarly, educational or informational works;
  • prepare extracts, reviews, summaries, abstracts and translations;

Attribution must be provided in an appropriate and generally accepted form. It must not imply that the authors, the Editorial Office or the publisher endorse the user, the user’s organisation, products, services or particular use of the material.
Users must not apply additional legal or technological restrictions that would prevent others from using the material under the terms of the CC BY 4.0 licence.
The licence does not remove the obligation to comply with the principles of academic integrity. Use of materials without proper attribution may be regarded as plagiarism even where such use is formally permitted under the terms of the open licence.
Where an article contains photographs, figures, tables, questionnaires, scales or other third-party materials that are not covered by the CC BY 4.0 licence, the conditions governing their reuse are determined separately. In such cases, users must obtain permission directly from the relevant rights holder unless the intended use is otherwise permitted by law.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that the submitted manuscript does not infringe the copyright, proprietary, licensing or other rights of third parties. Where copyright-protected materials are used, authors must obtain the necessary permissions and properly acknowledge their source.
The full texts of published articles are freely available in the “Archive” section of the journal’s official website.
The journal’s open access policy complies with the principal provisions of the Budapest Open Access Initiative, under which users are permitted to freely read, download, copy, distribute, print, search and use the full texts of scholarly publications, while respecting the authors’ right to proper attribution.
