Анотація
У статті досліджено фестивальні заходи міста Запоріжжя. Охарактеризовано фестивальні заходи міста за функціональним призначенням. Прикладом є Всеукраїнський козацький фестиваль «Покрова на Хортиці», музичні фестивалі «Khortytsia Freedom» та «Zaporizhzhia Jazzy», Запорізький міжнародний кінофестиваль «ZIFF», фестиваль вуличної їжі «Пікнік на Райдузі», літературно-мистецький фестиваль «Tolokaфест», фестиваль фарб «Холі-фест». Наведено результати проведення фестивалів для створення позитивного іміджу культурно-мистецького середовища міста. Окреслено особливе значення цього виду туризму для відновлення економіки міст, регіонів та країни в цілому. Запропоновано розвивати фестивальний туризм, тому що він сприяє підвищенню зайнятості населення, розвитку регіональної економіки, міжнародному співробітництву, збереженню екологічної рівноваги, формуванню туристичних потоків та позитивному впливу на розвиток туристичної інфраструктури
